Parent Child Development Corporation is a leader in Early Head Start and Head Start Childhood Education in the seven counties we service. We are seeking a qualified candidate to safely transport our Head Start scholars.
Responsibilities:
– General transportation needs and safety of all children and adults.
– Assures safe and punctual transport of all children and adults participating in Parent Child Development program at our 7 locations.
– Complies with all rules as stated in the Regulation of Head Start and PCDC policies
– Assures that children are fastened securely and properly in car seats or seat belts according to criteria developed by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
– Adheres to all traffic laws
– Assures timely pick-up and drop-off of all children and adults
– Maintains van/bus in working condition, and records on appropriate documents
– Fills gas tank as needed
– Reports any mechanical problems to supervisor
– Physically move up and down stairs on the bus and to sit for extended periods of time.
– Meet all physical, mental, moral and other requirements as set forth by Federal and State Regulations.
-Attend required pre-service and in-service trainings
Requirements:
– Must hold Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
– Must be over 21 years old or older.
– HS Diploma
– Preferred CPR/First Aid Certification
Job Type: Part-time
